HP ENVY DV7-7212nr Quad Edition mSSD Windows 8 Discounts

Karl S Washington (USA) :
This thing dose the job, I'm a photographer and need a lot of ram and good graphics for a affordable price. This is the ticket. I can run my programs without the slow lag time I was getting from my previous laptop. Haven't had it that long, so I will give a follow up in maybe month, but so far I'm impressed. Just what I hoped I was buying.

Phoebe (California) :
I love this computer. I have had it a couple of weeks now. I love the large size and that is not that heavy. I purchased it to handle my photo's. I love how fast it is. The sound is amazing. I don't do games so I can't say how it would do with them. The windows 8 is different but not that difficult to figure out. It kind of reminds you of a smart phone with apps it has that kind of feel. I would purchase this computer again. Some people don't like the way the battery sticks up but I don't mind it at all. It kind of gives you something to hold on to. I like the lit keyboard. I like the number key pad also. I like the feel of the keyboard. It is just a very nice computer.

J. Martinez (Alabama) :
I play an online game regularly, and this computer has plenty of speed for that. I am mostly pleased with its overall performance. The computer does crash every few days, however. It reboots quickly. Whether this could be from my browser or the game itself not being completely compatible with Windows 8 is beyond my level of tech savvy. Overall it's an excellent buy - faster and cheaper than my old Dell!

HP Pavilion 15-b010us 15.6-Inch Sleekbook Discounts

Harish Chopra (NY) :
I bought this product probably a month back and it's amazing. Everything is good in this product except the HP automatic alarms for updates or something. it annoys sometimes.. otherwise the product is good to be used and it's not too expensive to buy. Windows 8 works good on this product.
I would recommend this to my friends and family since its sleek n wide design is hard to be found in many other systems.

Genevieveea (Quito, Ecuador) :
This machine is good for the price - we bought several for my office. It can't handle that many programs at the same time (processor not that fast). Speakers are nice, and numeric keypad is very convenient.

Crystal G Owonubi (fayetteville, AR, US) :
I just bought a few units of the SleekBook and was immediately impressed by the design and lightweight of the laptops. The keyboard material and surface seem a bit cheap for this system. I was also a bit disappointed that it didnt come with a DVDRW insert. i guess i had overlooked that in the spec sheets. Overall i would give this product a 3.5 star. HP is doing a great job at providing options for the entry level Notebook kudos

HP 2000-2b10NR 15.6-Inch Discounts

Steven M Usarzewicz (Hamilton Square, NJ USA) :
I've always been a Toshiba guy but couldn't pass up the price point when i went to replace my 4 year old Satellite. Other than HATING Windows 8, I'm very Very pleased with the performance of this HP.

TBJ "smart cookie" (miami) :
This mouse has a mind of it's own. It moves when my hands are no where near the keyboard, it closes my page and the software and operating system is cumbersome. I move the mouse down but it goes up! RETURNING STAT!

tr1 (USA) :
My computer just had its 3rd birthday, and started acting out. When I bought it only Vista was out, (Windows 7 came out a month later). I recieved a upgrade to window 7 from HP. I had to reinstall my operating system last month. My recovery discs are not reconized,my window 7 disc from HP is not conidered authentic by windows,my recovery partition D cannot recover anything, and windows wants me to buy a new operating system, HP wants me to pay them to put vista back on my system. This was my work computer, I am losing hundreds of dollars each week from this mess. DO NOT BUY HP PRODUCTS!!!! The tech from HP said the Windows 7 disc was a piggy back of vista and only good once.(Whch was never disclosed).
I now have to save up to get a new computer so I can work (Now that is an awful Catch 22). My computer is only 3 years old, and they refuse to provide support. My computer will by shut down by Microsoft on the 22nd because they say the HP Window 7 disc is not authentic. BEWARE when you purchase from HP, especially when they offer upgrades. This is a sham. I will never buy HP products again.

HP ENVY dv6-7245us AMD Discounts

Miguel (California, USA) :
Simply the best computer to get your schoolwork and gaming done in. I purchased this because as a college student things get demanding sometimes and every once in a while you get bored so this is where this baby does the job!

Jameel (Durant, OK) :
Love this computer. Have not had any issues with the computer itself. It is fast and responsive. Does everything I need it to. Looks nice and well built. The layout of the computer is nice. Wish it was backlit but still works fine. Even though it says it has a USB 3.0 port I am not sure if it really does as all the ports are standard and none are blue. Would buy again if needed to.

Bre (Pa) :
at first I thought that the speakers weren't that special, but when you go into the beats audio app and alter the settings you can make it sound like your own little theater laptop. the finger scanning works for the majority of the time, but for the times it gets annoying i still have a pass code that i rarely use. my games run a lot faster too. I haven't noticed anything that makes this laptop appear refurbished either. the windows five is a little confusing at first, but there is a way to disable the right scroll to change screens thing that drove me crazy. plus, you can always go to the screen that looks like the old windows if that's what you prefer and it's not so bad. I've had it since this past summer and it's october now, still happy with my purchase.

HP ENVY 13-2150nr Spectre XT 13.3" Discounts

Efrain Sang (Richmond, VA) ;
I received the laptop in perfect conditions and at the right time. It's what I expected, very portable, light, well constructed and finished. The keyboard is very smooth and the screen resolution is quite good, the RJ45 connector availability was the feature that made me choose the Spectre over the MacAir (and of course the price). However, the well known issue about the fan is real, it's noisy and you'll notice that from the begining. A good product for the price, best value for money in ultrabook category.

M. Riederer (Nashville, TN) :
Not quite sure about all the negative reviews, which I read prior to purchasing this laptop, but I guess I'm one of those who got an outstanding ultrabook. I've been using this as my primary computer for the past two weeks, and it's perfect for my needs. The mSATA drive is lighting fast. The keyboard is responsive with a great tactile feel. The sound is fine for an ultrabook. It's 3 lbs! The 13.3" screen is more than enough for my needs, and I can connect this to a desktop monitor via HDMI if needed. Everyone talks about the fan - not sure what the problem is, but normally, it's off, and during CPU loads > 50% it's running, but not that loud. I had a HP i7, and you should have heard that thing run when all the cores were being utilized. I do video editing, and it's not that bad. I bought this at 699.99, which is a steal for the quality of this laptop. Highly recommend.

Andrew Mac (Windsor, NC USA) :
I truly love this laptop! All the ports, very light weight/portable, Windows 8; it is a steal for the price! My only complaint is the trackpad. Switching from the seamless simplicity of a Mac's trackpad, this was amazingly cumbersome and has terrible responsiveness. If I didn't have a mouse, I honestly wouldn't use this computer because the trackpad is so terrible. C'mon HP! Its so simple, but something that is a deal-breaker for me. It ruins the entire experience. With a mouse, I find myself using my HP more than my MacBook though!! I love Windows 8

HP Slatebook 10-h010nr x2 10.1-Inch Discounts

TT831 () :
I've owned my Slatebook for about 6 weeks and I think it is perfect. It is just what I wanted. I can use it as a tablet in the evenings for games & keeping up with social networking sites. Or, I can use it as a laptop to do work. For me, it does just what I expected. I researched first and knew what I was getting before I bought it. If a person is expecting a fully functioning laptop, he/she will be disappointed. Be sure to research the product to make sure it meets your needs before buying. :)

Jim "P" (maple grove, mn usa) :
I love this tablet. It does everything that I can ask for an android tablet. I think the tetra 4 is very quick and It works for what I want it for. The best thing I like about it is that the keyboard has a battery in it and if the tablet runs out of juice you can plug in the keyboard and it will charge the tablet. Nice feature HP. All in All I love the thing. I am sure there are some bad things about it but I have not noticed them and would recommend it to anyone who wants an android tablet.

Daniel J Martin (Tokyo, Ja):
The HP Slatebook would not run without locking-up. Called HP help desk and after about 20 minutes of being transferred to numerous people, got a tech how assisted with a factory re-set. About 2 minutes after getting off the phone with tech, Slatebook locked-up again. Returned to seller for refund. And not happy about having to pay $21.60 to return an HP product that did not work. This return shipping charged should be reimbursed by HP or the seller.

HP Elitebook 6930p Notebook Discounts

Thomas P. Mackin (MILFORD, CT, US) :
I purchsed several 5 of these off-lease 6930P notebooks for a small business and have no complaints. They are very solid and are excellent for use in a limited size work envirnment. As these are used or refurbished they vary in condition but are as advertised. For the price these are excellent machines and I would recommend them.

Loganburke "kipper" (satellite beach florida) :
After multiple attempts to 'register' the product with MSoft using the product code on the bottom of the laptop, I was finally successful in getting the code accepted...or so I thought. When I tried to download updates, it would not allow updates to load from MSoft.
I put it away for awhile and when I turned it on again it immediately went into a chkdsk routine and deleted the "Boot? file", so now it just goes into a perpetual 'loop' telling me the same thing over and over!!!! Missing Boot? file!

Maghraaby (don't worry about it.) :
the monitor is like dead .... it does not work.... i will check it again and if it still not working i will return the item

HP ENVY dv6t-7300 Quad Edition Notebook Discounts

Eaton Hubbard (CA) :
This was a really good deal on a nicely powered and full-featured laptop. Intel i7; 8 GB of RAM, Windows 8, all the bells and whistles, except a back-lit keyboard. I couldn't believe that in this day and age a laptop like this would be sold without a back-lit keyboard. This is why I gave it 4 stars. I went ahead and bought it figuring I would make do. I bought a USB LED light for the keyboard, but hated the shadow my hands cast in low light conditions, and I cannot touch-type. In the end I gave up and bought a replacement back-lit keyboard, bit the bullet on my warranty and installed it. I am now really enjoying my laptop.

Daisy Wu (Willemstad, Curacao (The Caribbean)) :
It's good despite the unknown high usage of disk after every turning on.
After turning on the laptop, I would choose to wait until the usage of disk does not reach 50% or higher before starting to work. Usually the waiting process takes about 2 minutes. Windows 8 operation system brings me please. Actually I like the whole laptop.

Hut013 (NY) :
After purchasing the Envy dv6t-7300 brand new, I powered it up and it did not work. After a 2 hour call w/ HP, and then updating hardware and drives, it works. Overall I am satisfied with its performance.

HP Envy 6-1110us 15.6-Inch Sleekbook Discounts

Tron (USA) :
Well I use to hate Hps because when I worked at a shop that's all that would come in. This one is made very well and the ability to have 16 gigs is why I bought this model. I have 12 gigs currently of ram in this computer and wow this thing flys! The AMD Processor handles anything I throw at it like games, programming, and video editing plus ripping or converting like a Boss. All I can say is I'm very happy with this and if your looking for a great laptop then this price is the best and the best laptop I've had ever and I have had some laptops over the years. Have fun and buy it today!

Joel (Kelso, WA United States) :
Got my laptop stolen. So I went for this. never owned an hp but Im happy so far. not a fan of not having a disk drive but cant remember the last time I needed a disk. very nice and loud speakers, super thin!. not a big fan of windows 8 yet... but slowly growing on me. playing some pretty demanding games no problem, starcraft 2, warhammer dawn of war 2, starwars empire at war. not problem.

Pedro Chavez (Bronx, NY) :
I'm writing this after playing Bioshock infinite (high graphics quality) in this laptop, I gave it a memory upgrade (16G) did it myself, very easy, find it on youtube... the laptop is just brilliant, fast, reliable, portable, the materials are just as a laptop should be made, the touch pad is perfect for all the windows 8 gestures, i feel like a have a thousand dollars machine (ultrabook) for half the price, temperature gets a bit high sometimes but nothing to worry about.. the keyboard should have a back light though.... overall it is just perfect for average gamers and to work... the battery life is just brilliant, I'm loving it!

HP Pavilion 14-b010us 14-Inch Discounts

Winter Is Coming (Washington DC) :
It says on the laptop sticker that the HP ProtectSmart feature "keeps data safe in case of a drop". I had a headphone with a really long wire which I trampled on twice, and the computer dropped from about 3 feet onto hard tile...and it was like nothing happened at all. Literally nothing happened. I once dropped a Coke bottle on my old Toshiba, and the hard drive instantly wiped. So don't think that the small slim look makes it fragile...the HP ProtectSmart feature most definitely works. I'm not a clumsy person--those were, in fact, the only three instances of dropping the computer or dropping something on it. But when it happened, I was glad the ProtectSmart feature worked.

Bg (Clayton, NC USA) :
Has anyone tried activating WiDi on this machine? According to Intel's website, the 2nd gen i3-2377M processor is Wireless Display capable. If you Google 'WiDi windows 8' there are instructions on Intel's site for activating it on Windows 8 machines, but the display drivers apparently aren't validated for whatever Windows 8 build HP puts on these machines. I also tried putting a Samsung 840 ssd in it (which is really fun tearing the whole thing apart to do) and I get an OS boot error when it tries to load Windows 8. I don't know if the drive cloning software samsung provides is awful, or if it's because I can't switch from RAID to AHCI because the BIOS on this HP machine is InsydeH20, which gives you the ability to change basically nothing. I guess you get what you pay for.

Anda3219 (Trinidad, WI) :
Bought this for general office work and web surfing. I've been using it for two months with no problems to date. Connectivity is good, battery life is as it says - up to four hours but I don't really use it for that long per day so its no problem. I can't see why other reviewers are complaining about the battery life since it is exactly as advertised. The only reason I took off one star is because of a lack of DVD drive - I know its a small laptop but I previously owned a Dell XPS 14" which did come with a DVD drive, so thats something HP should work on. But otherwise it does the job it was bought for perfectly.

HP 2000-2b80DX - 15.6" Discounts

Eric (USA) :
Worth every penny, it's a good internet and gaming computer. This is a great laptop for starters or teens.I purchased the laptop after my 9 year old laptop died. This was a great deal for the price and for what I need it for. Love the slick black color. Not a lot you can do with this other than play with it.I believe this laptop is as good as you will find for a budget laptop. It has 4GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive, and excellent functionality. Some people may not be used to Windows 8 yet, like another person who reviewed it, but if you take the quick tutotial on Windows 8 online, you can easily adapt and find it's a very good computer. Overall: Good sound quality, A touch pad that works great, Perfect for Business, Big screen size, easy to set up, lightning fast!

Decent User (NY) :
This one is great for all the daily usage, but not powerful enough for gaming. We take advantage of it and purchased this product for our son as his first own laptop. So he could not use it to play 3D games but enough for web browsing, social networking and finishing home work. He like it. We suggest this product for any people who just need a laptop for daily usage. worth every penny

Jamal (WA) :
I was looking for a laptop to get me started. Just something to get around on the internet, check email, and store music and video. For the price of around 350$ this computer is amazing. I found that the harddrive is perfect for people that love music and movies like i do. The camera is a good one. Not amazing but still worth using. The laptop as not froze on me and runs at a very good speed. Takes only about 3 mins from a cold start to me being on the internet. The screen is plenty wide and a great size for music and video. The only downfall is the built in Windows 8 so i wouldn't recommend it to anyone in a gaming stand point but for everyone else youll learn how t use it and move through the interface in about a week.

HP Pavilion dv7t-7000 Quad Edition (dv7tqe) 17.3" Discounts

Julian Espedido (Crystal Lake, Illinois United States) :
When I first got this laptop is was light, I thought oh it must be cheap. I started using it and it was terrific. Even though
it was made out of some plastic material, they probably made it lightweight, and unless your going to join the military it is
a great laptop. Light and useful, just got it for a few days and I can tell this is a great product. Keep up the good work HP!

Keith K. Dilliner (Honolulu, HI. USA) :
I bought this laptop as a replacement for my Dell which as slow and old (celeron processor). I didn't want a windows 8 too complicated and don't have time to learn all the new commands. Most new dependable (name brand) laptops use windows 8 and suggest changing over to windows 7. Didn't like that suggestion, wanted a laptop already with windows 7 included(money saving) and up to date processor 3rd gen. Lots of memory, more the two USB ports. I don't travel alot so I like the DVD drive which makes it heavier than I thought. Also the 17" display makes it bigger than all my other laptops (had a 14" HP before this but my wife wanted it for work, thats why I boought HP again) but I like it because I use it mostly at home. Its better than a desktop because its portable. The only reason I didn't give another star because battery life is 4 hours but it is removable so you can change to a bigger battery or a lithium battery which runs longer if there is one. Do your research, it has all the bells and whistles which is great.

Robert W. Ogletree (BLOOMINGTON, IN, US) :
This notebook was purchased in a hurry when my last one died suddenly. However I found this one and it was reasonably priced and was delivered on time. It came with Win 7 and all systems worked as expected. The screen is brilliant and the Core i7 is quite a bit faster than anything that I have used before. It was advertised as having 750 Gb which was fine but when it arrived it had 1TB so that was a bonus. After a few days of testing the components I wiped off Windows and installed Linux and have been quite happy with ever since.

HP Envy dv6-7210us 15.6-Inch Discounts

Laura (Sedona, AZ, USA) :
It was the best computer ive bought for my money. It was the same as my other one but way cheaper. I love HP they are really great computers. Everything works better then I thought, I wasnt sure because of the windows 8, but im actually used to it now. The beats audio is the best. Its one of the best computers you can buy for the money. Its the first one I bought for myself.

Alex (GLENWOOD, MD, United States) :
I got a referb of this model from HP and I have to say two things, first, HP support is awful if you want to get any support done, they take a long time to call in and are unwilling to change any return package destination.
Second I got this machine back from getting repaired and at least now the left mouse click button works... barely, it doesn't click right and I have to use both finders to click the left mouse button before it will accept that you have done a mouse click. Just beware of this for anyone who buys this model of the machine.

Frontier Accountant (Chelsea, Michigan) :
This is a good looking computer. It has great features. Unfortunately, the cursor randomly jumps from one place to another when typing. HP has made 3 attempts to repair my dv6 (each leaving me without a laptop for 10 days) yet won't give me a refund on this faulty computer despite it being under warranty. I would not recommend this machine.

HP Pavilion G7-2220us 17.3-Inch Discounts

Donald E. Mackey "NamVetDEM" (NY) :
Great price and the unit is great. Windows 8 has quite a learning curve and unit itself is more than needed for family member but larger keyboard and screen is just what the doctor ordered. No problems at all with the unit, setup was problem free.

Mary-Kate Pritchard (Portland, OR United States) :
This laptop started freezing the first day I used it. I spent several hours on the phone with HP tech support ending with having to reformat the laptop. It continued to freeze during this process and would not reformat. Ultimately I returned it 5 days after receiving it. I will not be purchasing an HP product in the near future.

Thomas Gates (Virginia Beach, VA United States) :
Got exactly what I needed in a laptop at a great Cyber Monday price. Still look at the weekly adds of local store and glad that I got this one at the now sale prices of smaller and less featured laptops. The 17" screen and full size keyboard were the selling points for me as I have gotten way to used to my old desktop computer with big monitor.

HP ENVY 14-3010NR Spectre 14-Inch Discounts

Brendan (New York) :
I just bought a new HP Envy Spectre 14" laptop and it's having the exact same problem with the "waves" on the left side of the screen that other commenters have mentioned. Obviously HP has not resolved this problem yet. I am going to call them and ask for a replacement on Monday. If that doesn't work we all ought to get together a class action lawsuit because this product is defective.

Jeff (Milford, CT, United States) :
Cannot stand Windows 8 ( it is definitely no made for laptop or mouse use), so I pursued Windows 7 Laptops that are still available. Actually, there are still a fair amount that can be ordered. As I was looking for an aesthetically pleasing model I first had the Dell XPS 15....did not like the very large palm rest that is on this model so returned to Dell. Then I found the HP Envy Spectre.... Stunning laptop, gorgeous screen, great keyboard and mouse pad thus far. I'm still installing updates as I type this, but thus far... I love this thing. My only concern is whether this is new or refurbished. The box was kind of handled excessively and the seal on the box was intact, but did not appear to be the original seal. I am awaiting further word from FGS Trading before I make my mind up as to return or not.

Aenkz (birmingham, michigan United States) :
i ordered this as a refurbished product from amazon warehouse. as expected from amazon, the quality was immaculate. that is why amazon is really really good at what they do.
about the laptop - it is one of the finest pieces of design that you will come across. it is the best windows laptop that is comparable to mac at a lesser price and more features. the touch pad is so smooth and gestures are very well read as well. the display is amazingly good and the speaker and sounds is crystal. I have had no problems with anything on this beautiful machine. i will recommend this to any and everyone who is looking for something different than a mac.

HP Envy dv6-7215nr 15.6" Discounts

Mario Castaneda (CA) :
Very good computer, arrived in time. Have tested it for more than a month, battery life is impressive and love the fingerprint security. I highly recommend it, only issue is Windows 8, I downloaded a software (2mb) from a website that gave you the typical start button.

Sankha Lakshan Wanigasekara (MA) :
I was extremely impressed by the fingerprint scanner, which can be used to even log into websites through HP simple pass. the web browser might get stuck a little but it's better than trying to remember passwords from various websites. Among other things, the speed of the notebook is great and even the color, which doesn't look too appealing through the photos but looks better in reality.

Z_zOhIB (USA) :
I bought this computer brand new, and right out of the box either the wireless card or an antenna was messed up. It would get connection only if i was sitting right on top of my router (which defeats the purpose of a wireless computer). HP is supposed to be a reliable company so i thought something like this wouldn't happen. Everything else about this computer is amazing, but without internet connection you cant use your laptop for anything.

HP ENVY DV7 17.3" Discounts

Bill (USA) :
What a laptop!! I have no idea what that other guy was talking about with the slow responding issue. This laptop is extremely fast!! I am able to play all sorts of games like minecraft and call of duty on nice settings. I will recommend this to anyone who wants a multimedia laptop! I was really happy with my purchase but I wish they had a back-lit keyboard included, not that big of a deal though.

Dave (US) :
I have the 15.6" version of this and its a great laptop for the price. The graphics card is integrated and runs on system RAM, meaning it will outperform many 1-2gb cards with dedicated RAM when the laptop demands more performance. The A10-4600m is a strong AMD CPU, able to compete with the comparablely priced Intel i3 & i5 CPUs. For gaming purposes, it will run almost all newer games at low-medium settings with antialiasing off. Older games 3+ years old all run at high-ultra settings, including games like Fallout 3/NV, Oblivion, Age of Empires 3, Bully, Company of Heroes, Lord of the Rings BFME2, and many others without issues. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a graphics intensive laptop for music and video editing, as well as gaming or just facebooking.

Tbehland (CA) :
Again disappointed with the garbage that HP has put out. Took computer out of the box and proceeded to use wireless internet and as usual HP did not load the driver for it. Went online to web site and downloaded driver, after trying to install it, restarted my computer and you guessed it...a blank screen with several dots going in circles. I figured it was loading the software at startup and left it for several hours then over night. When I looked at it this morning it was still blank. Would like to send it back to HP...only problem is I am in Saudi Arabia and FedEx would cost me about the same as the purchase price to send it and we all know how cheap HP is...they would bill me when they sent it back...never again will I buy HP.

Shawna Whiteaker (Saint. John, IN USA) :
As usual, Amazon comes through with flying colors. I ordered this a week before Christmas, was expecting delivery on Monday, the 24th, received it on Friday, the 21st. Daughter was ecstatic about early delivery and LOVES it!!!! Charged it up and she's been on it non-stop for the last three days. Took her a bit to get the hang of Windows 8, but says it works 1000 times better then the Windows Vista that was on her last laptop. Fast Processing and outstanding color, picture nice and big for watching movies. More than enough storage space for all her music files. Very happy with purchase.

Patrice H. (Tucker, GA, United States) :
Loved that I have the windows 8! It was pretty annoying at first but once you get the hang of it you start having so much fun setting it up just the way you like it. It works great and its fast and is lightweight and is easy ti carry around to work and everywhere I want to go.

Simon J. Leonard (US) :
I haven't mad up my mind if I like the Windows 8 program yet. Windows 7 was the best since XP. When I use it more I might begin to like it better. We have other computers with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. This computer replaced the one which had Vista which I didn't like. I would like this computer better if it had a numeric keyboard on the right side. Other brand laptops with a 15.5" screen do have the numeric keyboard on the right. The more I use the windows 8 on this computer the better I like it.

HP Pavilion g7-2222us 17.3-Inch Discounts

Polly (SF Bay, CA) :
We bought this laptop for my mom who is 82. She's quite computer literate for an old lady! She's mastered Windows 8 already! She just needs it for word processing and internet use (yes, she's on FB!) so this laptop is fine for her. It's a good value for a basic laptop! Not for gaming or anything high-tech, but fine for her!

Linda M Da (Dallas, GA) :
I received my HP, and am still gettng used to all the features. I don't like Windows 8, but in fairness it has only been a short time. The one disappointment is the casing of this HP doesn't have the stability of my last two hp's. The hard drive is on the right side close to the front and when I pick up the computer, it seems as if it would be easy to crack or break. I am happy with the speaker's the volume is pretty good. Picture quality is also good. For the price I would recommend this computer, my order came with an upgrade to 6 mb for the memory.

Denisk (Austin, Texas, United States) :
This is one of the best personal computer which I bought in the last 3 years. The only problem I had with the window 8.Window 8 is ruining all the good fetures this computer because you simply do not allow the use of its full potential. to do 90% of things you have to havea internet.

HP Pavilion 14-b017cl 14" Discounts

Paul S. (Ottawa, ON Canada) :
The only problem was that the photo of the laptop was not accurate. It doesn't have the number keyboard on the side , it only has the numbers on top. Be careful if that is what you are looking for, otherwise its very nice. I don't really like wondows 8 inicial windows, it kind of confusing.

Aleisha Fritzen (MN USA) :
I love it. It is very fast and getting used to using the windows 8 (I had vista before so it is a little transition). It is a notebook style though it says laptop because it has no cd,dvd, or bluray drive (which for the price is fine you can always look online and get an external for a good price). VERY LIGHT! Love how light and easy to carry. It is thin and the screen size it perfect not too big but not too small. I would highly recommend it. I have had for 2 months so far so awesome will update later.

J. Miller (Los Angeles, CA) :
I'm a consultant who travels to client sites and helps them with marketing and management issues. No heavy graphics and I'm not a gamer. This laptop serves me very well. It boots in a reasonable time and has a battery life of about 4 hours. I like to use the feature that disables the touchpad (just double click the top left of the pad) and use a mouse when I'm drafting substantial documents, as when I'm typing I often bump the pad and it changes the function or relocates the cursor. I recommend this unit.

HP Chromebook 14 Discounts

Jeffrey Ulrich (MIAMI, FL United States) :
Beautiful machine that is fast as lightning, I can't believe how rugged this feels compared to the smaller chromebooks. This machine is built to last with quality construction and a sturdy keyboard, it's not a cheap product at all. The functions perform flawlessly and can run numerous apps at once with zero lag, ZERO!!! The drawback is no optical drive, but I purchased through HP a USB multi drive and now the system is totally dialed in. I Love It! I can do any office app through Google office and I couldnt be happier.
Thanks HP for continuing to make kick ass products. I am a loyal HP fan for life. 2nd HP computer purchase this year and they just keep getting better! Good Job and great engineering!! Keep it up.

V6Hawk (NJ) :
I bought from Best Buy and i'm absolutely in love with this lightweight OS. It does everything I need to do, as long as i'm on the 4G or connected to Wifi. It's a great laptop for browsing the web, doc. editing with Google Drive, and all in a very sleek, light design. Highly recommend this laptop running the GOOGLE CHROME OPERATING SYSTEM.

S. Odemis (VA United States) :
This is my 3rd clout laptop this year. My daughter and I love it very much. I purchased one for my friend too. People complain that its not compatible with windows, must understand this is a new way of doing things. Its all about cloud computing, I can save all my files and folders on my google drive. I dont have to worry about loosing my stuff anymore in case my windows machine breaks down. It has an universal printer driver so I dont have to install driver after driver for different peripheral and slow my machine down. I do not need to worry about virus checker either. It comes with a solid state Hard drive. I have been using this machine over the last 2 weeks and it works great. User friendly. I dont have to wait 5 minutes to boot up my machine. It boots up instantly. I think it takes about 3 seconds or something like that. My daughter is 10 years old and she finds it easy to use. So there!

HP Pavilion g6-2210us 15.6-Inch Discounts

leslie benjamin (MONTE RIO, CA, US) :
This laptop is awesomely fast and terribly pretty to look at. Plenty of computer for a student or home office, with pretty good gaming capabilities too. Boots up like lightning, shuts down without a bunch of questions, and never gets hot due to the HP cooling feature. A little big for your lap on a bus, but I have a small lap. lol Windows 8 has a glitch or two, but I think I like it and they stay on top of it, update-wise.. If you want something really familiar, go with XP or Windows 7.

JavrSmith (Milwaukee, WI USA) :
This computer has been very reliable. The keyboard keys are a little small or shallow for fast typists. The touchpad keeps affecting typing. When you type, you might drag you thumb on the touchpad a bit. This moves the cursor sometimes which then changes the text insertion point. Result? Lots of typos that you have to go fix. Changing the touchpad sensitivity helps but it still happens a bit. Two fingered typists wouldn't notice.

Jkress (La Crescenta) :
I am still new to trusting this whole buy from the internet. The first HP had an issue right out of the box. HP support said ship it right back. The amazon return process made it extremely easy for even this novice. But what mazed me wa sthe fact my replacement laptop was being shipped before i even had the old one back to the UPS store. That impressed me. The laptop was actually for my daughter who was in college and because they shipped it expressed, she got it on Monday with very little delay. Anyone can sell stuff. Its service after the sale that is hard to come by these days. Amazon has my business as long as they continue to treat me this way. This is my second very positive return experience this year.

Alexandro Gutierrez Simakov (Grantville, pa) :
Amazing Comp, more than I expected in quality, the only bad thing for me and my work is that it comes with Windows 8, and it's funny for a designer maybe, but not confortable when you have to work with Microsoft Word and Excel, and I have to use to it, I rather prefer Win 7, but 8 for touch experience is quite funny.
Love this computer, is the finest I could get, really looks amazing and fine

N. Fotis (Chicago, IL) :
The screen is fantastic on this new laptop. No issues with getting to know and like Windows 8. The boot up time is very short and very impressive. The touch screen works well, though there is seldom a need to use it. Overall, a good value and a powerful machine.

Sumit Jaisingh "Maverick" (Woburn, MA USA) :
its a great laptop but loses a star because the screen seems to come off from both the corner bottom edges and till date I've not been able to replace the HDD with a SSD. The laptop does not recognize a SSD for some reason. I'll edit the reviews with the details if I'm able to replace it.

HP ENVY TouchSmart 15t-j000 4th Gen i7-4700MQ Discounts

Gina B "It's a dry heat!" (Chandler, AZ USA) :
This one was of many pieces of hardware I ordered for a technology show. I was surprised by the quality of this notebook PC compared to some of the other 15.6" models I ordered by other OEM manufacturers. The keyboard is full sized and comfortable, the device feels solid, and the speakers are high quality (with Beats audio). The PC was zippy thanks to the Haswell (Intel 4th Generation Core i7-4700MQ) processor and the display was crisp. It's definitely more of a stationary machine than one you would travel with due to the heavy weight and large screen size. The only complaint I have is the amount of crapware that HP installs on their machines - it took quite awhile to remove it all via the Control Panel/Add Remove Programs.

Raul (US) :
The specs says that it has Bluetooth, but when I turned on and try to use the Bluetooth, the machines does not find any bluetooth device, I even post a Q about it and some person (probably the vendor...) answered "all of the above fast and quick, no cd rom drive".

Denny Abraham Cheriyan (CO) :
Its sleek. I'm new to touch and I must say its great! Makes things really convenient. The laptop will run for about 4.5 hours with a full charge

Timothy Hyer (Arlington, VA USA) :
Great computer for the price. I've had it for 3-4 weeks with no issues. And while windows 8 may work better on a touch screen, using it on a normal laptop is fine once you learn how to navigate it.

Mainza (VA) :
its quite a great laptop as am still trying to get used to windows 8 , I a cant comment much as I just got it this week , I will come back when I get wind of it , though I must say that am having problems with my internet am failing to get through sites which I used to access with ease with my previous g6 laptop . if any one has a solution or suggestions to maybe the internet settings please advise , I will come back with a more precise rating once I sort out my problems .

Henry Sullivan (Texas) :
Excellent value. It performs flawlessly. Not that crazy about Windows 8, but hey, you have to keep up. Maybe they will bring back the old Start button as rumored.
